A town hall event in Winnsboro on Oct. 22 meant Annie Andrews, the pediatrician vying to become the first Democrat elected to the U.S. Senate since 1998, has hit every county in the state since her campaign started last spring.
Andrews’ campaign, which is giving GOP nominee Darline Graham a closer-than-expected challenge, has tried to keep cost-of-living issues in focus ahead of the Nov. 3 midterms, billing its Fairfield County event as a “South Carolina You Can Afford” town hall.
